Inspired by the generations before her, Magui’s journey into crochet began at the age of twelve, watching her mother and paternal grandmother transform simple strands of yarn into intricate, timeless creations. Although she later pursued studies in Fashion Pattern Making, crochet eventually called her back. Three years ago, Magui rediscovered this art with renewed purpose, expanding her skills through self-directed learning and drawing inspiration from the limitless creativity of the handmade community. What began as a return to a childhood hobby soon evolved into a deeply personal artistic practice.
Her first contemporary creations were medieval-inspired coin pouches, followed by handbags, accessories, garments, and wearable art. Each new piece became an opportunity to explore techniques, challenge her creativity, and transform ideas into carefully crafted works.
