Our Story

We are Tipperary Arts (TARTS), a new, non-profit arts collective based at 50 Main Street in the heart of Tipperary Town.

Made up of 6 local creatives who met through Creative Places in Tipperary Town, we decided to create a new permanent arts space to support all forms of creativity in our community.

We are made up of visual artists, sculptors, writers, poets, musicians and digital artists. We support and mentor emerging creatives. We provide space for our community to showcase their talent and create a non judgmental space for creativity to shine.

  • We believe in collaboration, not competition.
  • We believe in free expression, not censorship.
  • We believe in support, not judgement.
  • We believe that a vibrant arts scene benefits everyone. It draws people into our town, supports local enterprise, and adds colour, energy and life to our streets.
  • We aim to provide events that are relevant and wanted by our community, and through your feedback, we can create a bespoke service specifically for you.
  • We hope you will join us, take part, and help shape this new creative space for Tipperary Town.

Ways to Support Us

Tipperary Arts is a not for profit organisation dedicated to promoting creative expression in the community. We are an independent group reliant on sponsorship, donations and community engagement.
There are many ways to support Tipperary Arts. Whether you buy from our craft shop, make a donation, attend a paid workshop, or share what we do on social media, your contribution helps artists, makers, and performers continue to showcase their talent with the wider community.

We also endeavour to make sustainability a key objective of our practice and so welcome used, unwanted or unloved items that we can re-use or repurpose.
Tipperary Arts Craft Shop

Our Craft Shop

Our craft shop showcases work by local artists, makers, and members of the Tipperary Arts collective. Every purchase supports local talent, helping artists to develop their practice while allowing us to offer a space where local creativity can be shared, and celebrated.

Give a Donation

Your donation helps us cover the everyday costs of running our space and supports future workshops, exhibitions and events. Every contribution, big or small, helps us continue to offer a place where local people can engage with creativity, experience local artwork, and connect with the talent in our community. It also allows us to remain independent so we can provide the bespoke service that our community deserves.

Give Unwanted Items

We welcome items that would normally end up in a skip and will strive to re-use and repurpose them, so feel free to contact us if you have anything that may be of interest. We will on occasion put a call our for specific items that may be needed for a community project so keep an eye on our social media and the news section of our website.
