Alex Roche is a self-taught artist and has been making and selling his art in various forms since 2020. Always a doodler, he had fantasied about creating his own worlds inspired by video games, cartoons, and movies.
When Covid hit, he was working in a warehouse. With the world in a state of uncertainty and disarray he found himself wanting a life that held more meaning. He began drawing and painting with the goal of making a living as an independent artist.
The past 5 years has been a wild and varied journey. He has designed logos, merchandise, and characters. He has sold paintings and has been streaming on YouTube.
He would say it has been the best decision of his life to follow what he believes to be true and seek a life of meaning and order in a world of confusion and disorder.
He hopes to one day be an example of how adhering to the good, the true, and the beautiful can provide us all with a life worth living.
