Born in Prague and a proud resident of Tipperary Town for over twenty years, Libuse Horankova is a creative soul deeply dedicated to graphic design, typography, printmaking, and community volunteering.
She believes that if something can leave a mark, it can be printed! Her diverse creative palette ranges from digital and offset print layouts to traditional silk screen and playful experimental monoprints, like gel printing.
Libuse is happiest when typesetting books, aligning beautiful typography, or getting her hands ink-stained in the studio. With a lifelong curiosity, she loves exploring and learning any type of art, eagerly diving into new creative processes and regularly collaborating with other artists to bring fresh ideas to life.
In her free time, she also enjoys the freedom and rhythm of roller skating. To foster local connection, Libuse volunteers her time to host inclusive, friendly, and neurodivergent-friendly workshops in printmaking, press, and graphic design. Offering a welcoming space designed with ADHD and autism in mind, she is entirely unafraid to share her passion with any age group, inviting children, youth, adults, and seniors alike to discover the magical, tactile world of print and explore their creativity side-by-side.”
