Tipperary Arts is proud to present “The Inner Child”, an exhibition by artist John Renwick, aka Kyntrich. His painting is instinctive and flamboyant, full of colour and rich in texture. His use of materials is highly imaginative and inspired by his love for the natural world and by his connection to it.
Originally from Kilkenny, John holds a 1st class B.A. in painting from NCAD. He has had solo exhibitions across Dublin and Wexford and has been part of several group exhibitions in the RHA and Temple Bar galleries to name but a few. John moved to the Clody Valley in Wexford where he founded the Artbank communuty arts center in the picturesque town of Bunclody. Here he mentors and promotes local creatives and gives free expression a stage in the heart of Co. Wexford.
John and the Artbank has been a key inspiration in the forming of Tipperary Arts and we are honoured to have him as our first solo exhibitionist here at the hub. Please join us in giving John a proper Tipperary welcome as we open at 50 main street in the heart of Tipp town on July 18th.
